The Gite

Tastefully decorated with modern facilities

A two-bedroom gite that was completely refurbished in 2021 with bespoke furnishings from our in-house designer Rachel. Each room reflects traditional style with modern touches like an Alexa, PS4 and full satellite TV. Plenty of on-site parking with a private entrance. Ideal for all ages though disability access is restricted. We offer high chairs and a baby travel cot, potty, etc.

The Grounds

Plenty of space and stunning views.

The garden includes a mix of sun traps, shady trees, a swing and a hammock. The kids can enjoy splashing in the pool, use of the clubhouse for table tennis and games, or log in to parental controlled wifi to keep them entertained

The Area

Located by the Fabas forest an hour south of Toulouse

Gite 31 is set in over an acre of grounds on the edge of a forest. 8km away from Aurignac and 10km away from L'isle en Dodon that both provide good local service including supermarkets and pharmacists.

Simon

Chief Wine Buyer and Handyman

Simon has spent his life designing mortgages so somehow thought he could design the interior. Alas, he was demoted to painter, fitter and the bloke that lugs things around. Enjoys rugby, F1 and a good excel spreadsheet.

Rachel

Chief Gardener and Interior Designer

Rachel started off in banking but her passion was interior design. After 20 years of making for everybody else she finally had the chance to deck out a 17 room Maison d'Maitre, of which Gite 31 is a part. Enjoys gin, sauvignon, gardening and her chickens. See her previous work here.

Will

Chief Entrepreneur and Stylist

Our only son and heir makes the odd visit, to brush up on his French and help us out. Not shy in coming forward, he wanted his picture on the website, so here he is!
